Kinetic Analysis is a leading sports technology company founded in 2012, focused on improving quality of life through human motion data. By combining expertise in biomechanics, data science, and wearable technology, it translates movement into actionable insights for health, performance, and well-being. Operating at the intersection of sport, wellness, and data, Kinetic Analysis supports athletes, healthcare professionals, and organizations in optimizing physical activity through evidence-based solutions.
The company has built a strong international network, collaborating with renowned universities, multiple European Olympic Committees, and a wide range of sports organizations, enabling impact across research, policy, and practice. Through its Vital Cities initiative, Kinetic Analysis equips cities with data-driven tools to engage citizens in physical activity, helping individuals reach personal goals through a supportive social network, while enabling municipalities to design and improve active living strategies.
Kinetic Analysis’ purpose is clear: to unlock the value of human motion data and make it accessible, meaningful, and impactful for everyone.
Role of Kinetic Analysis within the EHLA Project
Within the EHLA project, Kinetic Analysis is responsible for the development and implementation of data-driven monitoring, analytics, and evaluation frameworks that support physical activity interventions and enable evidence-based decision-making.
Their main focus is on Work Package 3 (WP3), Kinetic Analysis leads the design and deployment of the data infrastructure and analytics tools used to monitor physical activity and related behavioural patterns across target populations. This includes integrating data from wearable technologies and other relevant sources, ensuring high-quality, continuous, and scalable data collection.
Kinetic Analysis is also responsible for delivering key outputs related to data analysis and evaluation, including comprehensive reports on user behaviour, engagement metrics, and health-related outcomes. These insights support both participants and stakeholders in understanding the impact of interventions and optimizing outcomes. Moreover they contribute to the overall assessment of the EHLA project and provide a scientific foundation for further scaling and replication.
In addition, Kinetic Analysis plays a key role in supporting other work packages by providing data-driven insights that inform the awareness campaign (WP4) and the communication and dissemination activities (WP5). By quantifying impact and demonstrating measurable results, Kinetic Analysis strengthens the evidence base of the project.
Through these contributions, Kinetic Analysis ensures that the EHLA project is grounded in robust data, enabling continuous learning, transparency, and long-term impact at both local and European levels.
